..it's a BOY..

so, a few weeks ago i was just running errands with my momma, and we got the sudden urge to go to fetal studio to find out the gender of the baby. lancelot was working that day so i called to see if he would mind if we went without him, and like the wonderful husband he always is, he said he didn't mind. good, bc i would have gone anyway! haha ;) just kidding. well i was just barely 14 weeks at the time, which is still a little early to determine the gender, but the ultrasound tech said if he wasn't 100% certain what the gender was, he would give me a free coupon to come back in a week or two when the baby had grown a little more. so we set out to see if this little babe inside of me was a little becky or little lance, and the ultrasound dude (who is a dr. from europe, supposedly) said he was 95% certain it's a BOY!!! he told me not to start shopping yet since he wasn't 100% sure (of course i didn't listen!) and to come back in a week or two so we could see for certain.

well, it's been three weeks so my mom and i went back in today - lance was working, again - and today dr. ultrasound dude said the baby is 200% BOY!!! which is great, bc i have already bought a ton of stuff. haha and it's good bc lance and i have already named him, and we talk to him every night, and when we say our prayers we pray for baby finn! of course we would have loved a girl just as much, but we are SO EXCITED to have a little boy! we have both always wanted a boy first, "so he can watch over and protect the others." haha that's what lance always says. we got some really good pictures of the baby today...in one of them i swear to you, he is sucking his thumb...but unfortunately i can't upload them to my computer.
