well well, where to begin?! life is SO good right now. i hate saying that, because i always feel like i might jinx myself, but i find myself thinking...several times a day...how wonderful life is and how blessed and happy i feel for all that i have been given.
pregnancy has been much better than i anticipated. i threw up once when i was about 7 weeks pregnant, and i am pretty sure it is because i didn't eat food when i took my prenatal vitamin. other than that...nada! for the first 12 weeks, as long as i ate frequently, i was fine. i have had some pretty ridiculous cravings, but sometimes i think its just all in my head. :) i am currently a little over 16 weeks...my pants are a little too snug and my belly is poking out. this is a huge adjustment for me - i guess i am more vain than i thought - and while i am so grateful for this opportunity to have a little baby growing inside me, the gaining weight part i struggle with! well i haven't struggled with the actual gaining weight - i've done great with that - just the idea of it freaks me out! after having an emotional breakdown last week bc i have grown TWO pant sizes, i decided to give in to the nasty thought of maternity clothes and just try on a pair of pants. and can i just say, thank goodness i did, because instantly i felt so much better! i am back to my regular size of clothes, and yes they are maternity pants, but i feel much better about myself!
to change the subject a little...lance became friends with a group of guys in college and all these years later they are still some of our favorite friends to hang out with. even though we don't live 5 minutes from each other (like we all did when we were in logan), we somehow find time to get together as often as we can, even if we have to find an excuse like one of the couples finally getting engaged...or celebrating someone's birthday...or the pregnancies of two of the wives who happen to have due dates only 3 days apart! yes indeed, we got to celebrate all three of those wonderful things this past weekend. it was so much fun to see everyone again, it had been far too long!

Thanks for hosting such a GREAT party! I thought I would NEVER go to the dark side of the maternity pants world, but now I can't wait to buy a pair :) I hope they look as great on me as they do on your cute little body!
