..oh all right..

i have been very hesitant to post pics of our house for many reasons. first of all, no one really cares excpt for me and lance and we are here every day so we don't need pictures to look at! second of all, it isn't completely finished. we are still waiting for our doors (they should be done tomorrow), not all of the electrical work has been completed, we need to do minor touch-ups on the walls, and most importantly it isn't completely decorated! i honestly thought i would get in there and have everything all ready to go in a week, but that hasn't been the case. i have been so overwhelmed by all the boxes and all of the crap that is in the boxes, sometimes i just sit there and stare at it all, deciding where to begin! the other day i just started throwing things away bc i was so sick of wondering where to put it all! (i seriously don't know how two people with no children can have so much stuff. and its not nice stuff, its just stuff stuff. stuff that i will never use but somehow i find a reason to keep it? i need help!). so anyway, the house isn't completely decorated or presentable by my perfectionist standard, which is why i haven't posted pictures and why i still don't want to! but i figure it will probably never be 100% done...i will always find small things here and there that i want/need to do to get the house looking "perfect," so without further ado, here are a few pics of our house:

so there are a few pics. the only other room that is worth showing right now is our bedroom, and lance had already messed up the bed when i got home tonight, so i couldn't get a picture! darn him. haha jk. we still have a ways to go on our family room...i am at a loss for what to do with it! and our office and one of the other bedrooms is currently home to all of our boxes and bins so nothing fancy there. lance really put a lot of work into revamping this home, i am so grateful for how talented and hard-working he is and for all that he did to transform this house! it is such a fun place to come home to each and every day!
