we had a fabulous weekend. on friday night after we both got done with work, we went to rodizio grill for a fabulous brazilian dinner. i had never been before, and it was delicious!! i was so full by the end of dinner that i am pretty sure my pants unbuttoned themselves. after dinner, we went on a nice summer walk through the park just east of the capitol. it was beautiful down there and such a perfect night to go for a walk. let me just say, i love living closer to slc. now that we are only about 10 min away from downtown salt lake, we go there often for dinner and it is so fun!

after work on saturday we went out with some of our friends. our friend dan had been wanting to eat at this asian bistro in salt lake, and i have to admit when we pulled up to the restaurant i was a bit skepitcal...it kinda looked like a dive! haha but that's why you never judge a book by its cover bc it ended up being one of the most delicious chinese/asian restaurants i have ever been to! and it is a perfect place to eat for lance and me bc lance loves thai food but i am not a huge fan, and this restaurant has thai food and chinese food! love it! after dinner we went to the gateway and got some fro yo at the new yogurt place there, can't remember what it's called. i forgot how much fun the gateway is on warm summer nights. we just sat out on the patio eating our ice cream, talking and enjoying the band that was playing that night. it was great!

on sunday my cousins blessed their adorable baby boy, and i am so happy we were able to attend. there is always such a sweet spirit during baby blessings. after church they had a luncheon in their yard and it was perfect! i think its because this spring has been so awful, but now that the weather has warmed up i just love being outside!
when we got home, we were just going to rest and watch lost since it was the sabbath, but lance turned into a busy bee and started doing little projects around the house and in the yard. i was exhausted for some reason though, so i took a nice sunday nap. oh how i love sunday naps! when i awoke, lance had done a billion things and had it not been the sabbath i would have felt guilty for not helping him! ;) haha. we ended the night eating dinner on our newly cleaned patio and it was great.
such a great weekend!

I am glad you liked Dan's choice of restaurant... I was also really surprised when it turned out to be so nice inside! Ha ha. And I am sooo with you, I spent majority of our weekend outside too and it was SO nice to just relax outside. That night at the gateway was the most perfect weather! So fun!!
