..hello..

hello from the powell's. we are still in ogden, utah, or the butthole of utah as i like to call it (haha jk, its just we live so far from all our friends and civilized life so sometimes it feels like a butthole might feel? if you lived in one? tmi? sorry.) anyway, life is good. lance is just workin his little bum off. he has been blessed with a ton of work so far this year. his 6-day work weeks, working an average of 10 hours a day must be exhausting, but he never complains and i just feel lucky to have such a great provider. i finished school in december and am currently working for my dad still, but i am looking for a "real" job (whatever that is) so if anyone hears of any job openings anywhere, let me know!

our year has been pretty uneventful so far, unless you count the 5 seasons of desperate housewives i watched in 2 weeks. that is what i call "fun." other than that, i can't really think of anything else worth blogging about up til this point and still i don't have any great news or updates. lance celebrated his 28th birthday on february 27. he is getting so stinkin OLD. haha just kidding lance. we had a few little birthday celebrations for him, all of which included good food and good company.

there is nothing too exciting or eventful awaiting in the near future. we will be moving a little bit southbound in june (to woods cross), which makes me extremely happy bc it is so much closer to so many things! and our dogs will finally have a yard to play in. other than that, nothing to report. life is good. we are good. the dogs are good. so that's that.
