..movietime..

when lance and i were dating i swear we saw every single movie that ever came out! we were definite movie-goers. since we've been married i think we stay in and watch more movies in the comfort of our own living room, which is fun but sometimes i miss going out to see them! well in the past couple of weeks we have seen LOTS of movies!

disney/pixar's "UP"

this movie was SO adorable! it was kind of a tear-jerker actually (as one critic said, "if you don't cry in the first 15 minutes of the movie, there is something wrong with you.")! it was really very sweet, and i have to say, my favorite disney/pixar movie.

"the hangover"

okay this movie was a little naughty, but probably the funniest movie i've seen since "knocked up." i laughed so hard i was nearly crying...along with everyone else in the theater! if you can't handle crude humor DO NOT go see this movie, it was really very gross...haha but still sooo funny.

"the proposal"

omg. it seems that every year there is one movie that becomes my new favorite. i see it multiple times in the movie theater (when "the holiday" came out i saw it 5 times!) and the second i see it i know that i will buy it when it comes out on dvd. "the holiday," "p.s. i love you," and "27 dresses" are some recent favorites, and now "the proposal" is on that list! i have seen it twice, i LOVED it so dang much. i was seriously laughing so hard i almost peed my pants. it wasn't dirty or anything either, just good clean fun! it was so freakin cute and ryan reynolds is my new favorite man in hollywood. definitely see this movie!

"transformers: revenge of the fallen"

funny story: when the first transformers came out lance had to drag me to the theater. haha i thought it looked so dumb and just a "boy" movie. but i ended up LOVING it! so this time around i couldn't wait to go see it! lance was out of town the day it came out, and i considered going to see it without him, but i figured he'd be really mad so i waited for him. i'm such a good wife, huh? anyway it was totally worth the wait...i LOVED this one too. i even cried, which is super weird, i'm sure, but i cry in lots of movies so whatever!! i liked the story line. i liked how this one had more humor. and i even have a crush on megan fox i think...she is so hot! see this movie for sure!!

"my sister's keeper"

i read this book and loved it so i was so excited for the movie to come out! the book just had this incredible twist at the very end, so even though it seemed very predictable and at times slow, the ending made it so worth it! well...the movie had a different ending and i was so mad. instead of this jaw-dropper it was just a tear-jerker and i was not a fan. don't see this movie unless you really enjoy crying.

now i can't wait for "public enemies" (july 1) and of course "harry potter" (july 15)!! stay tuned for more movie info... ;)

dang girl that's a lot of movies! the only movie dan and i have seen in forever (seriously) was transformers. we are like you and used to see lots of movies before we got married and now we just end up watching movies at home more. i want to see my sister's keeper - one of dan's friends saw it and said that seriously every person in that theater was crying, even all the guys! so i don't know if i really want to humiliate myself like that, bawling in a public movie theater! :) haha.
