lance and i had a great easter weekend. on saturday night lance's sister tiffany was in town from san fran, and she took us out to dinner at the fabulous la caille. oh man was it delicious! i have been to la caille for weddings and have always loved the atmosphere, but i had never eaten dinner there so i was so happy when tiff told us that's where she wanted to take lance for his birthday present! we were so uncomfortably full by the end of dinner, but it was well worth it! thanks tiff!
..this is my "i'm so full" face..
after dinner we went up to park city to spend the night at my mom's. we woke up easter morning, got ready, opened our easter baskets, ate breakfast and watched the morning session of conference. lance's family had tickets for the afternoon session, so lance went with them. i didn't go, is that bad? i just love my lazy conference sundays where i don't have to put a dress on or shave my legs or brush my teeth for that matter! ha i just like to sit at home and watch it. i know, rude. while lance was being righteous, my mother and i had a fabulous easter dinner. i love easter food - ham, deviled eggs, rolls hot out of the oven...mmm mmmm! oh and of course easter candy. i definitely indulged in a lot of food over the course of the weekend.
after lance and his fam got home from the afternoon sesh, i headed down to bountiful to lance's mom's for yet another delicious meal. turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, rolls...the works. after stuffing myself full, again, we came home and went to bed. i think i ate myself comatose. :)
i love easter and everything that it represents. i am so thankful to have a testimony of the savior and of his atonement and resserection. i know i wouldn't be where i am today without it.
i hope everyone's easter was as fabulous as ours!

i love sitting at home watching conference on a tv! i don't think that it's bad! ha ha.
ugh, just reading your post about all that yummy food reminds me of how much i reallly did eat on Easter..and I'm all of a sudden full again!
We were at the Sunday afternoon session too... too bad we didn't run into Lance!! That was my first time actually going to a session of conference though, and I really did love it, but it was such a production to get there... we had to leave at noon, drove around looking for parking for 20 minutes, finally found a parking spot and had to walk over, wait in a line to get inside, go through security, find our seats, wait for it to start... whew!!! what a process... so even though I loved it, I am still with you on enjoying it from home :)
