..the usual..

oh hi. it has been a while since i last posted, partly due to the fact that i became re-obsessed with harry potter for a few weeks, so everything else kinda fell on the back-burner. i tell ya, i have read all the harry potter books at least 5 times, but i can still read them over and over and over again and i swear they get better every time! however, if anyone has any other good book suggestions, let me know!!

lance has a new woman in his life. i am not sure what her name is, but he absolutely LOVES her. here is a picture of the new couple:
flashback to three or so months ago when we were surprised with a dog for christmas. lance wanted to give it back, i didn't, so we compromised and both agreed that lance could get a bike if we could keep the dog. yes, i am good for my word (although probably a little crazy too - a bike?!). lance promised me that this would be his last bullet bike - the next one will be a "cruiser," whatever that is! oh, i also made him get a life insurance policy, and with only some slight hesitation he complied. :)

claus got his balls chopped off yesterday. oh what a sad day it was for both claus and me, for much different reasons though! i always get so nervous taking dogs in for that, bc i have known so many that have died going under. :( basically i was a nervous wreck the whole morning until the vet called and said he made it through just fine. haha he has to wear this silly lookin collar so that he wont lick his wound..he hates it! but he is recovering nicely and i am so glad that we don't have to go through this ever again!

last week i went to a jazz game with some of my cute friends...what a blast! we are all pretty hard core, i mean, notice how we all have our own jersey's!!

haha but the most embarrassing thing EVER happened at the game: this lady that was sitting down the row from us asked whose tickets we were sitting in..i said my dad's. then she says, "yeah, i've seen you at some games before." then she asks me if i have a sister who sometimes comes to the games..a sister that has blonder hair but looks just like me. i said no. then she proceeds to tell me that this girl (who she thought was my sister) comes to the games and screams louder than everyone else around, saying stuff like "ref you suck" and "you suck odom" at the top of her lungs. yeah..the lady was talking about ME!!! she just didn't realize that my hair used to be a lot blonder than it is right now! i felt so stupid. i have always known that my tendency to get a little out of control at jazz games would come back to haunt me some day..and it did!

lance and i have decided to take up golf. my dad has been helping lance with his swing and he has improved so much...lance is on his way to becoming a pro! as for me..we will see.

well that is all that is new with us...our lives aren't too exciting! i must say that we have been enjoying the few days of warm weather we've had! oh how i LOVE LOVE LOVE mr. sunshine!
